In our classroom we are loud, we are messy but true learning takes place. Our school serves a community with 80% of families below poverty line, single family house holds hold the majority and we have over 90% of our students receiving free and reduced lunch. Faced with adversity daily our students love the simplicity of life. A group board game, a simple hands art project or even some one on one reading can light up the faces of our caring, joyous student body. What our students lack in experiences they make up for in drive and determination. They come in each and every day with a eager to learn more and that is just what we do. We work each day to create a learning environment where everyone is safe, everyone can learn and everyone can be successful.
