Students love to learn about various subject matters though children's literature. Picture books capture students attention and cause them to be more engaged in their learning experience. I like to supplement lessons, in all subjects, with literature that will be interesting and easy for my students to understand. My students love having conversations about experiences they have learned about in their reading, and sharing their knowledge through hands on projects. Some of my students favorite things to create, to enhance their learning and show off their knowledge, is gallery walk posters, and lap books. I am excited to have a variety of books to go along with the subjects we are learning about, and tools to help my students create projects that will exhibit their understanding.
