Currently we can not quickly, safely and effectively use our blinds when in a lockdown which worries me if we really need to become non-visible as one entire side of our classroom is basically floor to ceiling windows. As its beautiful on a sunny day it concerns me for safety purposes as well as for ease of learning. When trying to use our board its hard for the students to see due to the glare from the light as the sun shines through the blinds tremendously. Our budget is very tight and more things are being cut out of the budget constantly that there is no money to replace them.
