Kindergarteners are social and they learn best from each other. They need time to explore, manipulate, create, talk and hear what other children have to say. I've created learning centers to support their learning so they can work in both heterogenous and homogenous groups. Centers are an important way for me to provide hands-on, interactive, learning experiences for my students. The mobile cart would provide much needed storage for our centers. Students will be able to take their baskets and supplies anywhere to begin their learning. The moveable easel and dry erase board will allow me to set up a teacher center anywhere in the classroom to meet the immediate needs of any group of students.
