Despite the idea that my students may not be privileged with home environments that can surround them with education based materials and books, they are still children that deserve the accessibility to the same books that their more fortunate counterparts are exposed to. My students love reading! My students love when they are read to! My students crave knowledge and yearn learning! Literacy is the foundation of all knowledge. What a better place to be provided with a grand classroom library than in kindergarten, the very place that the majority of students receive their foundation of their education? I am fortunate to work in school environment that prides itself on working as a team, to successfully guide our students "to think, create, discover, problem solve, and to be their personal best, now and in the future".
