We are very limited with technology at our school and since we are not an FSA testing grade my students do not have as much access to technology as other grades to complete their projects. We have access to a few iPads, but they are under-used because I have groups of 4 students. These tablets would allow for further research projects. We have been learning about animals, historical icons, history, zoos, and many more topics but we have so much more to learn and our computer time is so limited. The students would be able to have more time to research the coral reefs, weather, national symbols, earth's surface as well as our entire galaxy. The students are so interested in our world we need to make every effort to let them gain as much knowledge as they can so they will become our future leaders. The students will choose how to present their projects after their research is finished and by providing these new tablets the students can explore every day our vast world. Not only will they learn new ideas, they will choose a way to make a presentation by raps, plays, brochures, etc. They get to choose the way they present.
