My students are learning how to develop their critical thinking skills through projects that allow them to do research and synthesize information by reading, discussing, and writing. These students are full of energy and need creative activities to keep them engaged and moving forward. Our school is a Title One school, but our students show an incredible desire to excel and are truly ecstatic about their gains. I have students that have told me that they do not have computers at home or even a book to read at their house. This is truly heart-breaking so I always share my bookshelf with them and encourage them to take a book home.

About my class
