My students are a wonderful, active, hands-on group of individuals. On a typical day, my students work together to help one another out with problem-solving and learning. My school is located in an area that is a mix of middle and low-income households. Having said that, my students do not let their limitations at home hold them back at school. When they are at school, my students are actively involved in taking control of their day and their learning. They sing, they laugh, they look out for one another.
