iPads are a great research tool that can be easily shared among students. Students will use the two iPad tablets in finding information, share with group members, revise research and continue obtaining all necessary information to complete a task. For my ELL students, they can use the tablet at their desk to translate words they may not know in English and communicate with their peers more effectively. Also, students can use whatever information and projects they have with the entire class when connected to the display projector. I want my students to be innovative, assertive and take the initiative in their education. What I really appreciate about tablets are that they are very kid friendly, the movements with one's fingers and ability to zoom in or out details. It is very easy to use and thus students are more likely to use it. I want my kids to work and learn, and whatever tools help them to do so I am all for them.
