We are an inner city Title 1 school. The majority of our students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. My students depend on the classroom library for their independent reading books. Our school funding is at an all time low this year. Adding new books to the classroom library, sadly enough is not a priority. It is imperative to use books as a motivational tool for my students. They need that challenge. By having this classroom library, my students will look forward to their reading time. Instead of being bored by uninteresting books, they will be inspired to read the whole list of books.
