I have been a library media specialist for nine years. I taught preschool, kindergarten, and fifth grade for three years before becoming an LMS. I teach at Dardanelle Primary School. We are a diverse, rural primary school with an enrollment of approximately 730 students with 33 homerooms. I see each homeroom once a week for 40 minutes as well as two self-contained rooms. I have library frameworks that I cover while integrating CCSS. I also try to focus on integrating as much technology as possible when teaching my classes.
