Our students love chess club! Each morning, students are welcome to play chess in my room. Each Friday, we have an organized chess team practice. Each week, I have more and more students, but not enough chess sets! Some students don't even get an opportunity to play. Your donation will help them have the opportunity to challenge their minds and bodies before and after school with our chess club. Our chess team is preparing to compete in January against other schools in our district. We need timers to practice using them for tournament play. These materials may seem small and insignificant, but at GP, they will go a long way!
