Many of my students admit that they have never read a book on their own until they've been in my classroom! I teach 9th grade English to predominately low-performing students. Many of my students speak English as a second language. I also teach a large amount of students with learning disabilities. Yet, they all have one thing in common; each kid is capable of learning.
