I am a first grade teacher to wonderful students at a wonderful school. I am currently working on my doctoral degree studying those indirect variables and factors that might or might not affect student learning and achievement. I have been in the field of education since 2001. As a teacher I believe in making learning and activities meaningful. Seeing the aha moments on students' faces is all the satisfaction and validation I need. In an effort to optimize learning and increase he value of their authentic experiences, I am often reflecting and revamping ideas and lessons. Sometimes, there are just a few housekeeping things that have to be problem solved before the actual teaching and learning can occur.
