Everyday, we attend Daily 5 literacy centers. One of our 5 choices is "Word Work." At Word Work, students practice their spelling and sight words of the week. These supplies will help students who are struggling readers and spellers. These magnetic letters and trays will be used by every student in our classroom. As the students become stronger in literacy, the students will need access to the materials to have a hands on experience during word work. Students will be engaged and will be having fun while learning how to manipulate words. My students will be learning word parts and being able to change out prefixes and suffixes. No matter the reading level, my students will have a better learning experience.
