These materials will greatly impact my classroom. The pencil sharpener will save me a great amount of time when sharpening all of my kiddos pencils for them. Being only 5 years old, I do this job for them, which will help keep the pencil sharpener well taken care of. As of right now, I am sharpening by hand. I also included the "SquareTrade 2-Year Housewares Extended Protection Plan" for the pencil sharpener in case it breaks later on. The light filters are a tool that can impact the classroom atmosphere. They change the harsh fluorescent ceiling light to a softer lighting, making it more relaxing in the classroom. The scented markers are a fun intensive to stay focused during small group time. They must first do their writing and then use the markers to draw their picture. The thick pencils are to help with my couple students experiencing trouble with fin motor skills. The "C-Line Reusable Dry Erase Pockets" are magic during small groups. Children LOVE writing with dry erase markers and they are a huge paper saver! (Each center would have 6 dry erase pages, rather than 30 paper copies per center). Thank you donors in advance!
