My students need to have the ability to choose how and where they work best in the classroom. By providing different seating options, students can find a comfortable space where they focus best. Students tend to succeed when they can get their wiggles out when needed. Flexible seating allows them to do that! Keeping a child's attention can be difficult for any teacher or parent. Using active seating helps increase blood flow which increases brain function! It allows them to move and adjust themselves in a non-disruptive way, burn off energy, stimulate their muscles, all of which make them more attentive. There are many benefits of flexible, active seating that will help improve their school lives.
