Welcome to the wonderful world of kindergarten! My students, a.k.a. little ones, a.k.a. my children are the absolute best! Understanding that my classroom may be their very first educational experience, I know that my job is to ensure that they are provided with the tools to create a strong foundation for their learning. With that, these children will not only need academic experiences, but through academics, they will also become familiar with the type of learner they will be. Each child will learn in a different way, and each child will take away something different from every experience. In an early childhood environment, I would like my students to be able to experience learning for themselves, through curiosity and exploration. With that, what five or six year-old wouldn't want to explore, right? By allowing them to learn in a variety of ways, we are able to reach everyone regardless of how they learn.
