As a physical educator, I have the honor of teaching a class that all students look forward to going daily! Physical education gives each student the opportunity to play, have fun, and learn about the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle. The scooter boards will give me the opportunity to create numerous fun cardio activities that my students will love. The nets chosen will be perfect for our class because our school DOES NOT have a full gym. Our gym is part cafeteria, stage, and gym all in one. The nets will give the students to safely participate in activities such as volleyball, badminton, tennis, and many more in the confined space that we have. These activities will help build many skills needed as the students move on from elementary to middle school. Right now we only have six scooter boards and we currently do not have any nets. Regardless if it's physical or academic, success and improvements for our students are the ultimate goals. Not only do I teach physical education, I am also the response to intervention (RTI) coordinator for our campus. When students are struggling academically, one of the very first thing for us to do is put interventions in place for the students to help make improvements. The most important role as the RTI coordinator is data analysis and preparation of documentations. The printer requested will allow me to print many important documents needed for their academic RTI folders to help each student gain academic improvement and success. All of these items requested will impact over 400 students on our campus. Please help our students strive for success in both physical and academic aspects. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and your willingness to help so many students.
