Our school is a public magnet school, so we're not a typical neighborhood school. Our students come from around the county from all backgrounds and income levels. We provide an advanced curriculum with daily extra-curricular academic opportunities. This is great for teaching our students to be well-rounded students and citizens and certainly keeps me on my toes! Unfortunately, many of my students do not have their own technology devices for our school activities. Our school is becoming increasingly tech-savvy, so our tech lab stays booked. This year, I have a class of 24 fifth graders that are so amazing. Eager to learn and experience new things - they show no fear! Many have been at our school since kindergarten, so they are familiar with the pace of our academics and are actually excited to work on projects!
