My students are in second grade. They love books, science experiments, math problems, reading and being read to, working together, and using their imaginations. They are wonderful, caring, brilliant and dynamic. I am privileged to teach in a small rural public school serving 200 students from Pre-K to second grade. Because our school is in a community with a growing socioeconomic divide between the poor and wealthy, I strive daily to provide an equitable experience to all students.
