This rug is just a start to my class getting to know one another. We will meet here multiple times a day to share, collaborate, and work. My philosophy in teaching is "Relationships First". Every morning we will share with one another in a morning meeting. It is in these meetings that kids who have had a hard morning, a hard time at home, or need a friend, are given time to turn their day around. It is at this rug where we will talk about Growth Mindset, Character, and of course all of the subjects we need to cover in 4th grade.
