I service 20 students in an inclusion pre-kindergarten classroom, where 18 students are considered low socioeconomic level in a pubic school in Louisiana. Over 90 percent of our school qualifies for the free or reduced lunch program. Our teachers are amazing and our students come from struggling families. My students include many ethnicities, such as Hispanic, Vietnamese, Caucasian, and African American. Two of my students know little of the English language but are learning. Two of my students are receiving services from the school for speech therapy and special education. The best thing about this project is that all the students will be able to participate regardless of their speaking abilities.
