Chromebooks would pave the way for these students so that they can learn the technology needed to succeed in today's world.These Chromebooks would allow my students access to numerous resources on the web that are just not available to them right now. Students could learn to access legitimate information from multiple sources, and how to cite these sources in their work. Chromebooks would be used to type and publish students writing assignments as well as allow for online learning databases to be taken advantage of, such as IXL, MobyMax, Readworks. Some of my students do not have access to computers at home so this is their only chance to have contact with technology.
