The padded floor chairs will allow the students to sit comfortably around the room as they dive into their books of choice. The students will be able to move the chairs closer to a friend for buddy reading or find a quiet place to read by themselves. As young readers, it is important for them to have a comfy place to sit so that they will focus on their reading and not focus on adjusting themselves on the hard floor or table. These floor chairs will build my students independence and will help encourage their excitement about reading for years to come.

About my class
