Our school contains 52 percent Economically Disadvantaged students. Over a third of our students are Hispanic and the rest are a true melting pot of ethnic backgrounds and cultures. Many are non-native English speakers. In addition, 10 percent of our students participate in Special Education and 9 percent in the Gifted program. We have a wonderful staff of hard-working teachers who work together and partner with our families to provide our students with an outstanding education. What will you find in my classroom? My students are enthusiastic, inquisitive, and love to learn. My classroom is a caring community where each student is valued and given every opportunity possible to experience success in their learning. Students are engaged through a variety of activities designed to interest them and get them excited about learning. We learn and have fun, too!
