Personalized learning is the goal for the students in my classroom. Flexible seating and the opportunity to stay active while learning allows them to feel more comfortable, spend some energy, stay engaged, and retain more instruction. Learning games allow me to retract vital foundational skills without becoming redundant and while providing them the opportunity to practice important social interaction skills. Manipulative provide the ability to engage and interact with the matuerial being taught in new ways that play to their different learning styles. My classroom is a place where all can feel comfortable, be themselves, and play an active role in their education and intervention.
