Many of my high school students work long hard hours to help make money for themselves and their families. Because of this they often are tired and unfocused. When I am feeling tired and unfocused, sometimes a bit of tea and coffee give me the pick up I need to get back on track. I thought it would be fun to reward students with tea and coffee in my class when they need a little pick me up to be the best versions of themselves in my classroom. All students want to be successful, they just need our help to reach their goals! I plan to set up a little tea and coffee station for students to treat themselves while in my class. I want to use it as a reward station when they are on task, asking great questions, staying on top of classwork and just being kind to others! This project will be able to be used year after year, I will just have to replenish the cups and tea/coffee used. Thank you for supporting my mission to help my students have a relaxing, yet engaging classroom.
