This upcoming school year is going to be a challenge. A challenge for students, teachers, support providers, and parents to face together. My students deserve to learn, collaborate, share, create, build relationships and feel safe. For many students and teachers, the safest place for them to be right now is at home. While at home, students will continue to "attend school" remotely and receive instructions from me as if they were in the physical classroom. My goal is to create a robust and seamless remote online learning experience for all of my students. In order to do so, I need to implement new tools and strategies to keep students engaged in curriculum and learning as if they were next to me in a physical classroom. Using and iPad and Apple Pencil, I will be able to bring digital learning alive and create more engaging and interactive lessons. I will be able to project curriculum clearly so it is accessible for all students. I will be able to create anchor charts for instruction. I will be able to use the iPad and Pencil as a digital whiteboard for showing work, giving examples and creating academic content.
