While the whole of educators are faced with an extraordinary task of teaching in this Covid-19 environment, for some subject areas, such as the visual arts, this task becomes more complicated. Students learning from home need virtual lesson that will keep them engaged while still being presented with a full curriculum. Lessons filmed, edited and produced in iMovie enable me as the Art teacher to create lively, interactive and engaging visual arts lessons. Currently, I use personal technology to develop art lessons for our home learners. Our school uses Chromebooks that do not offer the same quality in film creation. I would like to replace a very outdated classroom Macbook with a new one.
