The strengthening of fine motor skills is an essential part of growth and development in every child. Building these small but oh-so-important muscles at an early age makes for a lifetime of successful handwriting and drawing. Each item donated will help my students learn how to accurately complete everyday tasks such as cutting, gluing, grasping, tracing, and coloring. The benefits of these early learning tools has been shown to help children understand how their bodies work, form independence, and grow self esteem. Donated items will be used during center times as well as for individual practice for those who need extra practice. With your help, we can make this crucial stepping stone both fun and effective. Thank you for your consideration!
