I teach in a school whose population is changing. At my school we have a culturally diverse campus population which adds a wonderful richness to our school. The socioeconomic status is changing. We are in an area greatly impacted by the economy. Some of our families are unemployed or underemployed and have been for a while. My students are typical 5 year olds, they are eager to learn, full of energy and willing to take risks to improve their learning.
