I am asking for two new tables. The tables will seat six students and would be perfect for group work. Science experiments will be executed without worry as the uneven desks will no longer be a variable. Reader's Theater scripts will be practiced in a much more comfortable manner. Collaborative writing lessons will be performed with ease and civic responsibilities will be enforced on a daily basis. In addition to all of the above, the students will learn, first-hand, what it means to be part of a team. With our behavior plan, they will learn how a team helps all of its members succeed. They will learn the social skills needed to get along with everyone and/or the strategies that are needed when getting along is not working. It is truly amazing how one little piece of furniture can make such a big difference!
