Kindergarten students were not meant to sit in hard chairs all day long. They need to feel comfortable to be able to focus on their learning. Their comfort may come from having a choice of seating, such as wobble stools. These materials will make a huge difference for these students. It is so challenging for a 5-year-old to be stuck at a desk all day long and do their best to learn. Many of my students come to school to have a good meal and to feel safe and comfortable while learning. In my classroom, flexible seating will help students be comfortable and having seating options so they can focus they're attending on their learning. Flexible seating will provide them the chance to stay within the classroom in a more comfortable setting while also learning.
