These STEM kits will help my students explore our new physical science standards. My students like to experiment with magnets and gears. They have already noticed that the magnet ramps can be positioned to make the ball drop where they want. My students get so excited when they get to build and create on their own. With the materials in this project, they will now be able to learn even more about physical science. They will be able to use the balls and ramps kit to explore how the size of the balls affects the speed on the ramp. They will also be able to build models of houses and bridges to help them understand how developments can affect our environment. The Chain Reaction kit will increase their awareness of cause and effect as they build ramps to move a ball through a maze.
