English IV in NC is built to be British literature, however Shakespeare is not the easiest for all students to understand. British literature is full of some confusing language and connections that are hard for students to make. Being able to bring British literature to life with a class set of this new book will change my classroom. This book is a new release however it is making history. This book is set in the UK and tells the story of a teenage boy who uses his gifts to solve a mystery. My students will love that this book brings together British literature and a storyline that is relatable to them. I am excited for some of my students to read a book (cover to cover) for the first time! I want them to be able to escape our daily life through the pages of a good book!
