Our Middle school library serves more than 700 students. Our student population is highly inquisitive, energetic, and motivated to direct their own inquiry-based learning through exploration of library resources. Our school has an incredible group of students from a richly diverse range of backgrounds. Unfortunately, high poverty is part of the daily experience for most of these learners. Our wonderful students deserve to have every advantage of access to new books in which they can see them selves and look into other perspectives through books that feature characters different from them. This year we are focusing on closing the achievement gap and creating a school full of confident, successful students.

About my class
