Many of my students have informed me that they do not have books in their homes to read. Before we transitioned into remote learning, students had easy access to books at school. My school has a fantastic library and all literacy classrooms have libraries, but since all NYC schools are closed for the remainder of the school year, my students are without books in their homes. I personally reached out to many of my students and asked them what books they would like to read, topics they would like to explore, and genres they'd like best. Based on that data, I've curated some titles that suit their academic desires and needs. Thank you for your generous donations and for truly making a difference in education!
