In my first grade classroom there 24 students who come from various social economic backgrounds and experiences. Each day my students come in eager to learn and expand their young minds. As we move forward with implementing common core, I see that technology becomes more essential to have in our classroom. Most of our students come into class with a mind set that using technology is nothing more than playing a game. As a teacher I want show and teach my students the endless possibilities that technology, like tablets are useful TOOLS to enhance our learning in the classroom. It is essential that our students are exposed to the use of technology to research, learn and to be able to compete with the rest of the world.

About my class
