Flexible seating allows students the opportunity to choose how they can work more efficiently. As we move towards personalized learning, this will give students a chance to personalize the way they work. Students will have the chance to work on the floor, at tables, with movement, standing, and more. This will accommodate their different learning styles. The wobble chairs and desk and chair bouncy bands that I've requested will especially be beneficial for all the first-grade students who struggle with staying focused during class time. I will also be able to keep our lowest readers and mathematicians engaged through movement. In doing this, my students will be more successful in school.
