The area rug and bench will ramp my reading center. My students will feel more motivated to go to the library center if they have an attractive and cozy area. The wooden bench will be easy to wipe and to keep clean. Also the area rug will allow children to sit comfortable on the floor and look at our picture books. At this age students are curious about books and we have several of them, but I don't have an attractive area to motivate them to stay there and to continue browsing more than one book.
