My students are kinder through third graders who need a little extra academic support. They are inquisitive and energetic, so they need lots of attention and they need teaching that is engaging and full of energy. My students come from hard working families with parents who want to see their children succeed in school. The school has struggled to bring students' test results up to par in both language arts and math, and with budget sizes decreasing, it becomes harder and harder to find the resources necessary to enhance the curriculum.
