The self-exploration journal book, "The Me Book", would make a difference to my students who crave opportunities to express themselves and to be heard but simply do not have the skills to free write at this point in their lives. The prompting questions and easy to use format guide and encourage engagement with the text in a fun, exciting way! The journals would give each student a chance to explore journaling on a personal level. Many students are unsure about HOW to write in a journal; yet, they crave introspection. The structure of the book is one that is engaging and easy to follow. The book "Educated" would be for a class read wherein the teacher reads aloud to students in a whole group environment.
