Financial Literacy is a very important skill for my students to learn. I want to instill in them the value of money and how to be responsible with your money. Many of my students are from low income families. I want them to learn about using money responsibly so they can rise above their circumstances and be more financial stable in adulthood. My students learn when we have hands-on activities. Students will be able to better understand how money works through the board games, Monopoly, Payday, and Life. This will give my students the opportunity to learn the way that makes learning concrete. My kids want to be successful adults and this project will give them tools to be financially responsible adults.
