These 7th/8th graders are comedians! Their wit and humor makes me laugh daily. They are joyful, mischeevious and loving. As artists they are inquisitive and highly motivated to tackle any project set before them. They love to work with ceramics. They were able to do two projects out of clay, a pinch pot and a coil pot, and they fell in love with the medium! They were so engaged, so proud of their 3D accomplishment, and it was truly a therapeutic experience. These kids love painting and fall into a meditative zone when doing so! We love trying new mediums and are eager to touch, experience and manipulate every substance within our reach. We WILL disrupt the cycle of generational poverty and inequity at every turn. Help us reach far!
