Our small library space had class seating for 16 students. Our class sizes average about 22. We have lessons in the library that involve student collaboration, but with the help of Donor's Choose we can now include 24 students at a time! Our new tables and chairs satisfy the space requirement, and make our students in grades 3-5 feel welcome to join in the activities. Our elementary students will be excited to come into a library that has them in mind. Now our need has changed. We have students learning virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic. There is a lot of background home noise, distracting our educational environment. Earbuds with a mic will benefit the learning of all of our student virtual interactions, as well as on campus.
