With these items, kids will have the opportunity to come into my class whether in a small group/class, or individually to discuss way to promote healthy minds and bodies. These items can be checked out to allow students who struggle to go back into their classroom with something that can stimulate them while they're working. There are books we can read together which promote feels and ways to understand what they're feeling. There is a tent to allow students who need space, a place to go safely. These items will encourage students to talk about their bodies and their minds in a way that promotes educational skill building. In addition, students will learn to not only encourage themselves but to also respect and care for others not only in the classroom but also at home.
