My wonderful prekindergarten students often face many challenges in their lives at such an early age. Almost all of my students are English Language Learners, predominantly Hispanic who live in a suburb outside of Washington D.C. Many of my students receive Free and Reduced Meals and for most of my students this is their first schooling experience. My students are ready to receive an education they deserve, with materials and activities that promote inquiry, discover and curiosity. My students are ready to be actively engaged in their learning.

About my class
