All of the students in my class are special education students that have some skills which are up to four grade levels below their actual grade, and they use computers to assist in providing accommodations while decreasing the stigma faced by most people with deficits. They attend general education classes where they have to overcome their deficits and perform at or as close to grade level as they can. The students make great strides and feel more confident about themselves when we hold them to high standards while giving them what they need.

About my class
