All of the requested supplies are designed to engage the students and help them get involved with the material they are to learn. The bulletin board supplies will help me provide constant eye-catching visuals to my students so they can easily learn and recall difficult information for class. Kitchen math and measuring are some of the hardest concepts for my students because they must be memorized. Bulletins boards draw the eye and allow students to see them daily to help them remember. Students learn best when they can create, and many of my students do not have the resources to buy supplies like colored pencils and markers. Some cannot even manage the most basic supplies like pens, pencils, and highlighters. These supplies will help my students daily by allowing them to come in and immediately begin work without having to ask peers for supplies. They will also allow us to engage in creative projects like designing place settings, making group presentations, and designing food trucks.
